Ok, so a lot has happened. Let me update you.
First and foremost, I applied to some colleges. They wrote back, sent my transcripts, everyone's happy, yadda yadda. (I've been trying to transfer to another college, and I finally got off my ass and sent those things).
More importantly, some of you will remember that I was talking about building my own computer. After a lot of blood, sweat, and tears, I did it.
Meet Chronicle.
Intel Quad Core Q9450 processor performing at 2,66 Ghz, 320 Gb SATA hard drive, 8800GT OC graphics card, EVGA 780i Motherboard with a Fatal1ty audio card and 500W powersupply. Did I mention that this case comes up to my thigh and has about 5 fans built right into the chassis? It took a long time to get it up and running, but God DAMN is it smooth! Right now I have Doom 3, UT3, Bioshock, Painkiller (thanks Tama and Tina!) and Spore running. Every single one, especially Bioshock, runs stunningly!
But let's talk about Spore. I can't lie that the most fun I had during the game was actually in the very beginnning, when you start off as the plankton. Made a squid thing. Which turned into a frog thing. Which turned into a lizard thing. Which turned into a bird thing. The game is actually pretty difficult once you're past the creature area and into the societies. The camera doesn't quite move like I'd expect it to (this ain't no Starcraft or Warcraft). I found myself not really knowing how to make my bird dudes attack a neighboring tribe that WOULD NOT LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE. So far, so good though.
But yeah, if you're playing UT3 online, then you should totally look me up playing under my DA username. At some point, I'll join the bandwagon and get Orange Box. Right after I stop having like, no money left.

.... I thought the funnest part of Spore was creating creatures which are an afront to all creation and make no anatomical sense whatsoever. Well, I only have the demo CD.
